‘We had an extended stay in lovely Goatchers Cottage in Findon while we renovated our home. It was a lovely haven to come back to at the end of the day. Judith and Toby were very gracious hosts, did everything to make us feel welcome and responded very quickly to any of our requests. The location is ideal. In a quiet village with several bars and restaurants within a couple of minutes walk and at the foothills of some stunning countryside and the world famous South Downs with its numerous trails for hiking and biking. We would highly recommend staying in this cosy cottage if you are visiting this picturesque area.

‘Wow! What can I say. I booked the studio as I was attending a wedding at Cissbury Barns. When I booked it, Judith was in contact with me and told me how close they were to the venue. Before we arrived, we have good communication from Judith which gave us all the information we needed.
When we arrived we were warmly welcomed. The accommodation was exactly how it was described, everything we needed was there. We were surprised to see the extra that were provided, we had croissants, butter, jam, milk and also a beer and Prosecco. The extra made the accommodation and stay even more special.
We asked for food recommendations for the first night and we were given a couple of different recommendations, which we ended up at the Gun Inn, we were not disappointed with the recommendations. Overall the accommodation was exactly what we needed for the weekend, but what makes it special is the extra and the friendliness of both hosts. We can’t wait to book again. ☺️’

‘We booked The Studio as we were attending a wedding at Findon Place, we knew it was close by but we’re delighted to find that the Studio was walking distance from the venue. From the moment we arrived Judith and Toby could not have been more welcoming. the Studio is just like the pictures and the bed is so comfortable. We enjoyed having our breakfast on the patio which is a sun trap. The Studio is very well appointed and there wasn’t anything else we needed. We shall be back if we find ourselves in the surrounding area in the future.’

‘Judith and Toby are the ultimate hosts. They got in touch well before our stay to confirm final details (directions/ parking etc). When we arrived, the studio was a clean, tidy, cosy and well thought out space. They invited us to join them for drinks and were incredibly welcoming, leaving croissants for breakfast with fresh butter and jam.
On our departing day, Judith kindly dropped me off at the wedding venue we had been at the previous day where I had left my car so we didn’t need to walk and get it. Overall, cannot recommend highly enough and we look forward to our next visit.’

‘We had the most amazing, wonderful time at The Studio, we were lucky enough to have 10 weeks with Judith, Toby, the dogs and Muppet the cat whilst waiting for our new house to complete and it could have been very stressful but instead it was relaxing and most of all welcoming and friendly, could not have asked for more! The Studio itself was so lovely and homely, well equipped and also had a lovely spacious outside area. We very much hope to keep in touch with Judith and Toby as we feel they have become friends. Great location for access to the delightful wedding venue at Cissbury Barns, with easy access to the super friendly full of character local village pubs. They bought a new freezer fright just because we need a freezer. We played board game together. And they recommended the restaurants nearby. Highly recommend.
